Robinson college is a tune in A major, in both 4/4 and 7/8 time. It is also a building in Cambridge designed by Glasgow based architects Gillespie, Kidd and Coia. The tune makes reference to the structure, patterns and motifs of the architecture as well as considering the 'feel' of its spaces. The melody was written to test the idea of connection between place and music; between architecture and sound.
